Yesterday, had the day off of work. Spent the day outside. Started by moving some bricks to a neat pile by the side of the garage. Then started weeding the garden to the side of the driveway. Received my new black and decker rechargable cultivator.
Today, got up at 10 and started weeding the garden to the side of the driveway. Having to deal with lots of wild rasberry and grass that has invaded the garden. Also the garden is on a hill and its very hard to keep your balance at the top to weed the garden.
Roo picked up a ton of rock to border the garden to the side of the driveway and then spent the afternoon putting down some sand in the back to make our gazing globe garden. This garden was created using some rubber brick look stepping stones in tan made into a rectangle. The 4 corners are red stepping stones. Inside the center will be a gazing globe on a stand, and surrounded with impatiens and other shady perennials. This garden is under a walnut tree (possibly black walnut).
